Interior design education, a unique academic sphere, necessitates a delicate
integration of theoretical comprehension and practical application. This
harmonization finds facilitation in the adoption of pedagogical design
principles, notably through the adaptive utilization of Bloom’s
Taxonomy. Acting as a guiding compass, Bloom’s Taxonomy
systematically navigates students through cognitive levels, ushering them
from foundational principles towards critical analysis and creative
synthesis—pivotal skillsets in the realm of Interior Design.
This article delves deeply into the pivotal role that Bloom’s Taxonomy
plays within Interior Design education, accentuating its systematic
approach in nurturing indispensable attributes such as critical thinking,
problem-solving, and adaptability among aspiring designers. Drawing
insights from hands-on pedagogical experiences in specialized Interior
Design workshops, this study spotlights the effective infusion of
theoretical concepts into practical design scenarios, intricately tailored to
align with the cognitive levels delineated by the taxonomy
